es ist wieder Freitag und somit Zeit für unser Community Portrait. Diese Woche möchten wir euch Mixel aus Rotterdam in den Niederlanden vorstellen. Wir freuen uns, dass er sich die Zeit genommen hat, unsere Fragen rund um Carfrogger zu beantworten!
1) Carfrogger: Wie wurdest Du auf Carfrogger aufmerksam?
Mixel: Ich wurde per E-Mail eingeladen, da ich schon einmal bei einem Design Contest für die Marke 4711 beteiligt war und am Wettbewerb teilgenommen habe. Ich habe mir die großartige Website von Carfrogger angeschaut und entschieden, dem Contest und der Community beizutreten.
2) Carfrogger: Was ist Dein Lieblingsdesign auf der Plattform?
Mixel: Diese Frage ist schwer zu beantworten. Ich habe während des Wettbewerbs viele gute Designs gesehen und es werden immer noch mehr. Die neuen Funktionen des Konfigurators haben auch neue Möglichkeiten für weitere gute Designs geschaffen. Einer meiner Favoriten ist Dance of Black Gold von Tiki.Tica. Dieses Design bringt die Möglichkeit, eigene Bilder oder Grafiken in den Konfigurator zu laden, besonders gut zum Einsatz und das Design gibt dem Auto eine neue Persönlichkeit verglichen mit einer normalen schwarzen Lackierung. Ein anderes Design, das ich noch als einen meiner Favoriten nennen möchte, ist das Design Smart(er) Drache von Coolvirus. Zuallererst sind die Idee und das Design großartig, aber es zeigt auch die Möglichkeiten des Carfrogger Konfigurators in Kombination mit einer Menge Kreativität.
3) Carfrogger: Was macht Dir auf carfrogger.de am meisten Spaß?
Mixel: Mir gefällt die Kreativität die bei den Designs und in der Community beobachtet werden kann. Diese Kreativität hilft dabei, Inspirationen für meine eigenen Designs und meine täglichen Aufgaben zu finden.
4) Carfrogger: Was fasziniert Dich am Thema Fahrzeugfolierung?
Mixel: Nach meiner Meinung ist die Fahrzeugfolierung eine großartige Möglichkeit sein eigenes Fahrzeug zu personalisieren. Entweder ganz nach dem eigenen Geschmack, z.B. Lieblingsfarbe, Thema, Land, etc. oder mehr funktional zu Geschäftszwecken. Das Tolle am Car Wrapping ist außerdem, dass man damit den Originallack schützen kann.
5) Carfrogger: Was wünscht Du Dir von carfrogger.de und der Community in Zukunft? Gibt es noch irgendetwas, das Du uns und der Community mitteilen möchtest?
Mixel: Ich denke die Community ist ein tolles Werkzeug um Designs zu bewerten und zu verbessern – das Feedback der Community hilft dabei. Die Community kann dafür genutzt werden, für Personen oder Firmen Designs zu erstellen, die eine maßgefertigte Folierung wünschen aber nicht die Fähigkeiten besitzen, diese individuelle Folierung zu erstellen. Für die Community: Lasst eurer Kreativität freien Lauf und zeigt das in den Designs, aber bewahrt euch eine kritische Einstellung gegenüber euren eigenen Designs.

Dear Carfrogger community, dear visitors,
it’s Friday and time for our Community Portrait. This week we want to introduce to you our user Mixel from Rotterdam in Netherlands. We are happy that he took his time to answer our questions about Carfrogger!
1) Carfrogger: How did you find out about Carfrogger and the “Deutschland wrappt!” Design Contest?
Mixel: I was invited by email, because of my involvement in a previous design contest for the brand 4711 in which I had competed. I had a look on the great website of Carfrogger and decided to join the contest and community.
2) Carfrogger: What is your most favorite design on the platform?
Mixel: This is a really difficult question to answer. I have seen a lot of good designs during the contest and the amount of designs is still growing. The new features of the configurator also created new opportunities for more good designs. One of my favorite designs is Dance of Black Gold by Tiki.Tica. This design makes great use of the possibility to upload your own image or graphic into the configurator and the design gives the car a new personality in comparison with a normal black version. Another design I would like to mention and is one of my favorites is the design Smart(er) Drache by Coolvirus. First of all I think it is a great idea and design, but it also show the possibilities of the standard configurator in combination with a lot of creativity.
3) Carfrogger: What activity do you enjoy most on carfrogger.de?
Mixel: I like to see the creativity that can be found in the designs and community on Carfrogger. This creativity helps to inspire me for my own designs and other daily tasks.
4) Carfrogger: What aspects do you like about car wrapping?
Mixel: In my opinion car wrapping is a great opportunity to personalize your own car. This can be to your own taste, for example favorite colors, theme, country, etc. or more functional for business purposes. The great thing about wrapping is that you also protect the original paint job of the car.
5) Carfrogger: What do you expect from carfrogger.de as well as the community in the future? Anything else you want to let us as well as the community know?
Mixel: I think the community is a great tool to evaluate designs and improve designs with the help of feedback from the community. The community can be used to create designs for somebody or a company who would like to have an own customized wrapping but does not has the right level of skill to create this wrapping on their own. For the community: Let your creative juices flow and show this in the designs, but still show a critic attitude towards your own designs.
